I am currently seeking opportunities within the sports sector that will allow me to demonstrate my expertise and knowledge, while expanding my portfolio and skill set. I have a range of experience working within the commercial department of football clubs and have been employed at Macclesfield Town F.C, Port Vale F.C. and Brazos Valley Cavalry. In addition, I have also recently graduated from the University Campus of Football Business where I secured a Football Business & Marketing Degree. Each task I am presented with receives 100% effort, as I am a hardworking and motivated individual: making me a reliable employee. I also have strong communication and organisational skills, coupled with my confident and professional character.

During my time at Macclesfield Town F.C. I was in charge of the whole commercial department, this meant that I was responsible for finding and looking after partnerships, bringing in a revenue for the club, was responsible for running hospitality and so forth. While my time at Macclesfield Town was only brief, due to the club going into liquidation, I managed to secure a front of shirt, back of shirt, back of shorts and training kit sponsor within my first month – all of which were new partners to the club. I also created global partnerships, for example with Optival Ltd who are based in Tel Aviv. I learnt a lot during my time at Macclesfield Town and I am positive I will be able to replicate my hard work at another club.

JANUARY 2020 - AUGUST 2020

My role at Port Vale F.C allowed for me to gain a lot of experience working within commercial and I was responsible for a range of jobs, such as liaising with the club’s top line to entry level sponsors, taking charge of player sponsorship, helping the club with its marketing and branding, working within hospitality and so on. This role enabled me to develop a strong skill set within the commercial sector and stood me in good stead for my next role at Macclesfield Town.

MAY 2019 - JULY 2019

In 2019 I completed an internship programme for the Brazos Valley Cavalry - a USL League Two 'soccer' team in Bryan, Texas. During my time at the Cavalry I was responsible for a wide range of tasks, such as social media, marketing and sales, as well as getting to be involved in the day to day running of the club. As the Cavalry are affiliates of Houston Dynamo, in the MLS, I often had the opportunity to work with their Under 23's team; for example going down to the Dynamo's training ground to create content with the players. It was a great experience, that allowed me to work in a variety of roles in the industry, and understand football in America.

APRIL 2019

My marketing class at UCFB was set the task of creating a football photography exhibition, and I took charge of the Instagram account. My role included building up the accounts followers, creating and posting content, reaching out to relevant people in the industry and so forth. The Instagram account was successful, encouraged ticket sales and people from across the nation began to use our hashtag. I was therefore graded a First for the module by my lectures at the University.

2017 - Present day

I currently work for Penguin Refrigerated Ltd, as the Fuel Account Manager. In this role I am responsible for researching fuel prices in the area each week, phoning fuel account companies to negotiate a price and then reporting back to the Director of the company. For me, this job has emphasized the importance of attention to detail and decision making.

2016 - September 2019

I previously worked as a store assistant for the retail brand New Look. In this role I completed various jobs, that have allowed me to develop strong customer service skills. Working at New Look highlighted the importance of customers being at the heart of a business, and the success that brings.

2015 - Present day

Since 2015, I have worked a variety of  different jobs within the hospitality industry. Working in hospitality has had many benefits for me, as it's strengthened my ability to work in a team but also highlighted the importance of being able to effectively work on my own. The industry helped improve my ability to multitask, as well as my communication skills.

2014 - 3 months

In 2014 I took on an internship with QUBE Events & Productions, in which I helped to plan and set up a range of events, as well as help to oversee everything was organised and ran smoothly. The internship was unpaid, however, I was happy to gain experience in the industry, learn many new skills and to understand the life of an event’s organiser.

My first paid employment was at the age of 12, when I began modelling. This is something I have continued with and I now also do TV support work. A few of the companies I have worked for include Adidas, Fearless Clothing and ITV. Working from a young age, on top of school, instilled in me a strong work ethic.
